59th Annual Conference

November 4-6th, 2026

Saratoga Springs, NY

The New York State Social Work Education Association (NYSSWEA) invites submissions for its 59th Annual Conference, centered on Social Work as a Holding Environment in Times of Social Fragmentation. In a climate of rising polarization and systemic inequities, social workers are called to respond with ethical clarity, cultural humility, and courageous advocacy. This conference brings together educators, students, and practitioners to explore innovative research, teaching, and practice approaches that protect dignity, advance human rights, and strengthen communities. We welcome proposals that are trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and grounded in social justice across micro, mezzo, and macro practice.

Submission Deadline: May 1st, 2026 by 11:59pm
